CEO Speaks
I have been working with my hands and fixing things all my life.  I can remember my very first business like it was yesterday.  I was the bike repairman of Springfield. It was 1957, my parents and myself had moved from the projects  (423 N 15th Place)  to 116 S 13th Street.  For those who are 50+ you might remember.  The Starlight Tavern was on the corner (13th  and Washington Street) and our house, right across the street.  Repairing bicycles may have been my first business, but the first order of the day was picking up the bottles, cans and trash which had  been  discarded by the Starlight's customers.   After all, Earl "Pepsi" Senor was a no nonsense father.  So, my job...   pickup (clean) the front yard every morning before breakfast (Reinhart's buttercakes) and before going to school (Palmer's) !   Now those were the good ole days (smiles).
We had very little crime back then.  No drive-by's, no jackings, no shootings and prayer was allowed in "ALL" schools.   My parents, Earl and Myrtle, didn't  require the elaborate alarm system I currently have on my residence.   Even on the east side in Springfield, IL everyone watched out for one other.   Any adult could correct any child and children played in the streets without the fear of being runover.  Besides, only a few if any owned cars in my neighborhood and those who did, drove like they had both sense and a license.   No, I am not running for any office,  I was merely reflecting and observing, how the passing of time has generated so many changes...
Since the bicycle repair and many years later, I had owned several business.  Some may remember Senor's Wig and Beauty Salon located on the corner of 12th and Ash.  It was followed by Guarantee Securties or Senor's Alarm Company.  Yes, I have been truly blessed.  Still, after all has been said and done, I realize that I have some limitations.  I won't make everyone I meet happy.  Everyone who meets me might not be impressed.  Most or so I am told, feel I stuck-up, too cockie and over-bearing.  Unfortunately, I can't save the world but there is something I can do and I do it extremely well.  I can repair computers.  After years of employment with IBM, my natural mechanical abilities, mixed with my electronic training, repair just comes easy to me.  So I've vowed to make Alegna's (a-leg'-na)  customers, computer repair experience, as hassel and stress free as possible.  We will do our best and give our all, to have your computer or system up and running as quickly as possible.  Repairing your system quick and efficient on our first attempt, giving you our customer peace of mind.
I am truly blessed, that you have selected my company, Alegna Consultants, as your computer service provider.  It has been our purpose and my honor to serve you our customers.  At Alegna we have been providing quality computer repair service since 1996.   Thank you for your trust.   It's been my business, my pleasure and my goal.
